Take What You Need Today

I wasn’t sure that I would post this here.

I view this space as a place of service. A place where, even if you don’t have the financial capacity to work with me right now, you can find value. Perhaps a different way of looking at money, spirituality, creativity or leadership. Perhaps some reassurance that you’re not alone in feeling the way you do. Perhaps the permission to thrive in every way (though only you can give that to yourself, but it sometimes helps to hear others speak it out). Perhaps some inspiration that you might be able to take with you into your life.

But when I shared this wonderful news with my family – that I’m a finalist for the @bycacademy ‘Emerging Coach Of The Year’ award – I saw my kid’s eyes light up. They’ve witnessed firsthand my journey of finding myself, discovering who I truly am and what I’m here to do in this world.

In truth, they’re a large part of the reason I went on that journey. I couldn’t in good faith tell them to pursue their dreams if I wasn’t pursuing mine. Kids soak up what they see us do more than what we tell them to do. If you’ve worked with me on your money ‘stuff’, you’ll know how true that is.

And midlife has a way of sharpening your focus. There’s nothing like a ticking clock to get you moving.

A couple of years ago I was corporate accounting my way through life wondering if the choices I had made at 17 might determine the rest of my life. And now here I am being celebrated by the incredible @bycacademy and receiving the most heartwarming messages of upliftment by this community.

I’m celebrating me, the other incredible finalists, my beautiful clients who gift me the privilege and honour to be invited into their worlds, you for being here and a world where we are each others’ most fervent cheerleaders.

May you take from this whatever you need today my loves and thank you for being in my world. I appreciate you x
